A raid is a battle
While a settlement is raided its safe zone falls and its turrets go dark: raiders, players and the settlement's own people can all be hurt there. Its workers and guards take up arms and fight the raiders, and some may fall; newcomers take their place afterwards. Its keepers stay out of it.
The caravan defends itself
When it is attacked, its guard fights while the porter runs on with the load. Once it reaches a safe place, it can't be touched.
The city forgives
Harming one of the caravan no longer turns the whole Hearth against you for days, and those who won't talk to you now tell you how to make amends.
Refugees have their limits
Lead them anywhere but the Hearth for too long and they stop trusting you and leave. You can also send them on their own way: talk to them twice.
The coal seam gives coal
Its dark rocks give coal instead of stone.
The cold comes slowly
A wipe starts at -15 °C by day and grows colder over the real days of the wipe, not within hours.
Warmer indoors
Under a roof your body is much warmer, even without a fire.
You arrive dressed
Every spawn brings warm clothes (hoodie, pants, boots, beenie), two cooked chickens and three bandages.
Fixed
Dying while marked hostile no longer means dying again at the Hearth as you respawn.
Fixed
The banner when a settlement goes dark (or builds an upgrade) shows its name again.
