Embers
Earned, never bought.
- Only from the free track. 350 Embers a season, for everyone who climbs it. Premium gives none, so money never turns into Embers.
- Never sold. No cash value, can’t be traded or given away, and kept across wipes and seasons.
- What they buy: the premium pass (1,000 Embers), or custom skins in the shop, made for the shop. The pass’s own skins never go there.
- A premium takes at least two seasons’ Embers. At 350 a season, 3 seasons of the free track pay for the next premium. Embers spent in the shop push it further away: your choice.
Premium
The rest of the set, if you want it.
Premium adds the set’s other skins; the season’s title is on the free track, for everyone who finishes. It changes nothing in a fight: Heat Credits, items and everything that helps you live are on the free track, the same for everyone. You don’t need it to play. Unlock it whenever you like in the season, and what you have already reached is yours at once.

How a season works
One wipe, one season.
- A season runs from one force wipe to the next (the first Thursday of the month). The mid-month wipe doesn’t end it, and a weekly task you didn’t finish stays open into the next weeks (two at most), so a busy week isn’t lost.
- A season is 30,000 XP: at about eight hours a week, three to four weeks, most of it from the tasks. Its last week counts double for everyone, and past a day’s limit a quarter of the XP still counts, so a long evening is never wasted.
- XP only comes from playing, after your first hour: tasks, the Heat Credits you earn and your time in the city. Standing idle earns none, and killing players earns none.
- The rewards you reach wait in game until you claim them; a map wipe can’t take them. What is still unclaimed when the season ends goes with it.
- Skins you unlock are yours for good, on every wipe after. The sets come back in later seasons, in the pass only.
