7 changes · City
  1. A new bar at the top

The main places sit in an iron bar with how many are playing; More opens the rest: the map, the Wipe Chronicle, the Memorial Wall, the patch notes, the blog, the rules and the questions. On a phone the player count and Sign in stay in the bar, and the menu has everything else.

  2. The leaderboard is the city's ledger

Every keeper's fuel is written into the book, the first keeper's citation is clipped on top and the top three are ringed in red pencil. Switch between all wipes and this wipe. A keeper's own page is now the public part of their census file, with their Steam account kept hidden.

  3. My page is your census file

Once you sign in, your numbers, your battle pass and your Discord link are typed onto the Hearth's census form.

  4. The Memorial Wall is a book of remembrance

The people the cold took this wipe are written into the Council's book by candlelight, the newest first.

  5. The Wipe Chronicle is the Hearth Gazette

Each wipe's story is a newspaper's front page: the headline, the lead story, the wipe in figures and the late news, with a photograph from the city. The picture on Discord is the same front page.

  6. The blog is the Council's notice board

Posts are bulletins pinned to a cork board; open one to read it on its own sheet.

  7. No blank screen while you scroll

Sections start to appear just before they reach the screen, so scrolling fast never shows an empty stretch. With reduced motion turned on, or without JavaScript, everything is simply there.
